    Sanford, North Carolina

    Blockmon caught four touchdown passes, setting a Campbell record, in a 47-14 victory at Chowan, Saturday. The redshirt sophomore also set a program record with 172 receiving yards, all on just six receptions. Blockmon’s touchdown receptions went for 31, 45, eight and 68 yards. His second touchdown catch put Campbell ahead for good, 14-7, in the first quarter and he added to the Camels lead with TD receipts in the second and third quarters. The 172 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns are both the most by a PFL receiver this season.

    Gray led a Dayton defense that posted a shutout in a 13-0 victory against Robert Morris, Saturday. From his defensive end position, he had just four tackles but three of those stops came behind the line of scrimmage. Gray  was credited with 2½ tackles for loss, including two sacks that themselves resulted in 17 yards lost. He also was credited with two quarterback hurries that resulted in incomplete passes. That effort helped the Flyers hold the Colonials to just 62 yards of total offense.

    Lauer returned a kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown in Drake’s 56-28 loss at nationally-ranked South Dakota State, Saturday. He finished the day with 114 yards on his three kickoff returns (39.0 yards per return). Coincidentally, each of his three returns led to a Drake touchdown. His kickoff return for a touchdown is one of only four in the FCS after two weeks.
